Our Cattle

Our cattle have gentle dispositions and distinct personalities. Being small they have less impact on the land, eating less than their full size cousins, weighing less, and are easier to handle (it is not unusual for them to love being groomed), plus their sweet natures enable them to be easily halter trained. They come in a variety of colors – ranging in a variety from red, yellow, white, black, silver and dun. Our calves are raised with their mothers, they enjoy wandering around the farm, exploring and playing with other calves; generally learning to be a well adjusted calf. They are usually ready for their new home

The last of our mini highparks for 2025, Walker is a red and white Speckled park/mini highland (75%). Polled and wearing a very cute, fluffy coat.
as he is 25% speckled park – he will be a bit taller than the mini highlands, we expect him to be around the same size as a mini galloway.
From one of our best red highland cows, Walker has spent some time with his highpark sisters, although Mum likes to wander all over our large paddock, hence his name. With conditions so dry, we don’t mind – she needs all the grass she can find, plus we give them lots of hay.

He is a lowline/mini highland cross and is polled. Beautiful red coat
He would be great as a therapy calf due to his size, he is still under training. he is a very pretty boy, and due to be weaned in the next month or so.
He loves to walk in pair
